A house brick kit as a gift

Some gifts are forgotten within a week. A house you build yourself, brick by brick, stays. OurBricks turns a real house into a custom brick kit: the facade, the windows, the door and the details that make it recognisable. In compatible building bricks, unbranded.

For a new home, the family home or under the tree.

  1. Order the giftNo photo needed, they won't suspect a thing.

  • A young couple unwraps a building kit of their modern house among moving boxes

    Housewarming

For someone who just moved in. Their new home, to build themselves.

  • A young woman puts the model of her terraced house on the windowsill, new keys in hand

    First home

The keys are theirs. This is the house where it all starts.

  • A man looks at the model of the family home, a farmhouse, between family photos on a bookshelf

    The family home

The house you grew up in, before it's sold.

  • A model of a semi-detached house among the presents under the Christmas tree

    Christmas

A gift under the tree they'll recognise straight away.

  • A woman wraps the model of her townhouse before moving abroad

    Farewell or moving abroad

Take the house with you, in a box.

You don't need a photo

A surprise should stay a surprise, so the address is enough. We find the facade in the street view and turn it into a 3D design. Have a good photo of the front? Upload it. Have nothing yet? Just order: after your order you get a link to send the photo later.

How to give it

  1. Order the kit. Choose Mini, Facade or Complete and give the address or a photo.
  2. Approve the design. Within 24 hours you get the 3D design. Ask for changes until it's right, free of charge. We only make the kit after your yes.
  3. Hand it over. After 3 to 4 weeks the kit arrives at your place, or straight at the recipient's. You choose the address at checkout. Shipping to Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Germany is free.

For which occasion?

  • Housewarming

People who just moved have enough vases and bottles of wine. A brick model of their new home gives them something to do together on the first evening between the boxes.

  • First home

The keys are in. A first home is a milestone, and this is the keepsake that stays on the windowsill.

  • The family home

Is the house you grew up in being sold? Don't just let it go. As a brick-built model it stays in the family, with the front door and the windows as they always were.

  • Christmas

A gift under the tree they recognise at once. Order in time: allow 3 to 4 weeks between your order and delivery.

  • Farewell or a move abroad

For a colleague who leaves or family who emigrate: take the house along, in a box.

  • A (grand)parent's birthday

For people who have everything: the house where the family always gets together, to build together.

  • Mother's Day and Father's Day

The house where they raised you, as a brick model. A gift that doesn't end up in a drawer.

  • Wedding or moving in together

Your first home together, or the house where it all began. A keepsake that stays on the shelf.

  • A new baby

The house the baby comes home to. One day you'll tell them: this is where it started.

  • Renovation or new build finished

Months of work, finally done. Celebrate it with the result in miniature.

  • For estate agents and builders

A key handover to remember: give your clients their new home as a brick kit.

Which kit makes the best gift?

Mini (€99) is a small, playful version of the facade, about 12 to 16 cm. Quick to build and a lovely gift for anyone short on time. Facade (€179) shows the front in full detail, as a little house on a base. Complete (€349) is the whole house, from every side: a showpiece to turn around and a build for a few cosy evenings.

All prices include VAT and free shipping. See the three kits on the Your house as a custom brick kit page, or read how it works.

Worry-free gifting

You see the design before we make anything. Not happy? We change it as often as needed. Still not satisfied? You get a full refund as long as you haven't approved the design. After your approval we make the kit to order. A brick missing? We send it free of charge.

Building takes no experience. The bricks come in numbered bags per part of the house, and the online instructions show step by step where each brick goes. On your own or as a couple.
